Summary:
This is a telling of the story of Moses which is found in the book of Exodus in the Bible. At the beginning of the movie is the following: "The motion picture you are about to see is an adaptation of the Exodus story. While artistic and historical license has been taken we believe that this film is true to the essence, values and integrity of a story that is a cornerstone of faith for millions of people worldwide." There are epic musical numbers, but there is also a lot of quality depictions of ancient Egyptian culture, life, politic, and art.

This movie is rated PG. Depicted overseers whip workers. Babies thrown in the Nile with crocodiles in an artwork. A guard is killed by being pushed off a scaffolding. The last plague is the death of first born sons
