Summary:
You are a foot soldier in Alexander the Great's army on the way to conquer the known world.  This account is told in the second person.  It details the worst  of army life as it hits the highlights of Alexander the Great's campaign across the Mediterranean into Egypt, Persia and India.  There is a two page glossary at the end with definitions of various words found in the text.

Potentially Objectionable Content:
Violence - lots and lots and lots of cartoon violence.  (There are some very compelling reasons why you wouldn't want to be in Alexander the Great's army.) Acts of violence depicted include crucifixion, stabbing, murder, and suicide jumping from a building.
