Summary:
In this very retro, vintage cartoon the simple story of Columbus' first voyage is portrayed. There is singing and the natives are friendly. On a side note this cartoon was produced in 1960. Columbus and Columbus Day have undergone a shift in the intervening years. Columbus is not so much the hero he was thought of back then. This short cartoon might provide an interesting conversation starter.
