Summary:
Bill the Nile crocodile and his bird friend Pete go to school with all the other crocodiles and birds. They live on the Nile and learn all about ancient Egypt.  They learn about the sphinx, mummies, and sarcophagi.  One day the whole class go on a class trip down the Nile to see the pyramids.  Bill and Pete foil a bad man who is trying to steal the precious jewel the Sacred Eye of Isis.  Their reward is that the whole class gets to ride home on a big river boat.
