Summary:
This is an interesting look at that participants of the Revolutionary War. In 1775, 40% of the American Colonies were comprised of Irish, Scottish, German, Jewish, Dutch, Polish, French, Swiss or African peoples. This book takes a look at their contribution to the fight for freedom.  The author shares episodes and vignettes of many different people during the war.  Each chapter is devoted to a different group: leaders from different nationalities, people of African descent, Native Americans, women and young people.
