Summary:
America changed in the 1960s.  There were civil rights, the Vietnam War, women's liberation and the youth culture.  The sixties as we think of them now really started in 1964.  American Experience takes the watcher through the year 1964 season by season.  Using a variety interviews, news footage, still photos and narration,  this documentary introduces people, places and events that shape American culture in the years to come.

Potentially Objectionable Content:
While there is no graphic violence, there is discussion of murder and violence.
