Resource: picture book, biography
Time: 1884 - 1962
Place: America

Summary:
Brilliantly illustrated (seriously I want these pictures on my wall, they are just that gorgeous) this book speaks with the voice of Eleanor Roosevelt.  As most picture book biographies this book simply lays out the life of Eleanor Roosevelt but at the end of each page, or sometimes in the middle there is a quote from the great woman herself which clearly conveys her voice and her viewpoint.  This book covers the whole of her life.  There is also a list of important dates and selected research sources in the back of the book.  It is so delightfully illustrated by Gary Kelley.
