Summary:
Charlie Brown invites viewers to watch as he presents his report on the building of the Transcontinental Railroad.  Charlie tells the story of the how the Central Pacific with thousands of Chinese workers working east from San Francisco and the Union Pacific working west from Nebraska changed the way Americans traveled.  This video uses a delightful combination of cartoons, illustrations and photographs with folk songs like "She's Coming 'Round the Mountains". This is a nicely detailed report.
