Summary:
Starring Tom Hanks and Gina Davis, this Penny Marshall film tells the heartwarming story of the founding the the All American Girls Professional Baseball League.  During World War II men from all professions were called to war even baseball players.  Minor league baseball was hurting, so several wealthy men decide to fill the gap with women, just like Rosie the Riveter.  There are insights about living on the homefront during the War and the role of women. This movie always makes me cry.

Potentially Objectionable Content:
Language: a reasonable amount of cussing, a mention of breasts as one of the women learned how to read using a romance novel and an umpire is called a penis by the manager.
