A visual representation of the removal of Native Americans from their homes to Indian Territory in what is now Oklahoma.

Summary:
Between 1830 and 1860 the five "civilized tribes", Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Seminole, and Creek were forced to walk the Trail of Tears to Indian Territory in what is today Oklahoma, what was then the territory of the Osage.  The Trail of Tears was not a one time occurrence, but rather many walks taken by many different bands of people in those thirty years.  This short video shows with graphics on a map of the area the many different voyages and the affect of this on the political map.
