Summary:
I just love the way that Ken Burns makes documentaries.  He makes historic people come alive with actual quotes and still photos.  Combined with historic, cultural and literary experts Mr. Burns begins to tell this story of the National Parks in episode 1.  The main focus of this episode is the beginning of the parks, specifically Yellowstone and Yosemite. It also begins to lay out the life of John Muir, one of the park's stoutest supporters.


Potentially Objectionable Content:
There is brief talk of Indian removal and burning down villages.
